    What Women Really Want

    Saturday, June 11th, 2005

It seems that every TV and radio talkshow, and every magazine, has a periodic feature about what women really want. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why this is such a mystery?

In my book, The Man’s No-Nonsense Guide to Women: How to Succeed in Romance on Planet Earthâ„¢, I show men that:

    1. Women want the same things men want
    2. Men are barking up the wrong tree by pursuing women in old-fashioned, traditional, chivalrous, deferential ways
    3. It is possible to find a woman who is beautiful, intelligent, generous, and fair-minded — if you’re man enough to handle her.

What women really want is a man who understands this. It is so simple that it is sad to watch men making it complex and enduring endless games of chess — with the wrong women.

If you want to find your no-nonsense woman this summer, my book will show you how.

    Girls Becoming Wilder

    Wednesday, June 8th, 2005

Newsweek’s 6/13/05 issue has an eye-opening article about the rise in girl violence and bad behavior. On highschool playgrounds, there is more girl violence than boy violence. Girls are being arrested for stabbing each other over ridiculous arguments.

Of course, my readers won’t be surprised by this development, because I’ve stated, ad nauseam, that guys and girls are inherently the same. That’s the underlying premise of my book, The Man’s No-Nonsense Guide to Women: How to Succeed in Romance on Planet Earth.

What’s changed since I was a lad? Socialization: girls are no longer told to be passive and restrained. So, what happens when girls behave the way they want to? It is impossible to discern the difference between “boy” behavior and “girl” behavior. No shit.

Here’s a quote from the Newsweek article:

Part of this spike in violence is related to evolving sex roles. Historically, boys have received messages from the culture that connect masculinity with physical aggression, while girls received opposite messages, encouraging passivity and restraint. Now girls are barraged with images of “sheroes”—think Sydney Bristow on ABC’s “Alias” or Uma Thurman’s the Bride in “Kill Bill: Vol. 2″—giving them a wider range of role models and tacit permission to alter their behavior. Accordingly, says Spivak, some girls have “shifted from internalizing anger to striking out.”
